What is Ayurvedic Health Counseling?

Ayurvedic Health Counseling is an educational, holistic wellness approach rooted in the ancient system of Ayurveda. It looks at digestion, lifestyle, daily routines, stress, sleep, and emotional patterns to help you understand why symptoms are showing up and how to gently support balance.

I do not diagnose or treat disease. Instead, I guide you in learning how to work with your body’s natural rhythms.

What concerns do you commonly support?

I frequently work with women experiencing:

  • Irregular or painful menstrual cycles

  • PMS, perimenopause, and menopause transitions

  • Digestive imbalance and low energy

  • Chronic stress, burnout, and nervous system dysregulation

  • Brain fog, fatigue, and difficulty staying grounded

Sessions are personalized and always adapted to where you are in life.

What does AHC mean?

AHC stands for Ayurvedic Health Counselor. This means I am trained to provide individualized Ayurvedic lifestyle, nutrition, and routine guidance for wellness and balance.

What does it mean that you are studying for CAP?

I am currently enrolled in advanced clinical studies toward Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner (CAP) certification. This deepens my clinical understanding while I continue to work within the scope of an Ayurvedic Health Counselor- education, lifestyle guidance, and wellness support.

Is this medical care?

No. Ayurvedic Health Counseling is not a substitute for medical care. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or advise discontinuing care from licensed medical providers.

Ayurveda works beautifully alongside conventional healthcare and is meant to complement- not replace-it.

What happens in an initial session?

Your first session includes:

  • A detailed intake review

  • Discussion of current symptoms and life patterns

  • Ayurvedic assessment of constitution and imbalances

  • Gentle recommendations for food, routine, and self-care

  • Time for questions and integration

You’ll leave with clear next steps, not overwhelm.

Do I need prior knowledge of Ayurveda?

Not at all. Everything is explained in clear, accessible language. My role is to translate Ayurveda into something practical and usable in daily life.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. All sessions are currently offered online, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your home.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your goals. Some clients benefit from a single clarity session, while others prefer ongoing support to navigate hormonal transitions, stress recovery, or lifestyle change over time.

We’ll discuss options together—there is no pressure.

Do you work with menstruating teens or first cycles?

Yes, I offer age-appropriate, educational support for first menstrual cycles, including guidance for parents or caregivers when appropriate.

Are supplements or herbs required?

No. Herbs or supplements are never required. When suggested, they are optional, gentle, and discussed thoroughly so you can make informed choices.

Is this religious or spiritual?

Ayurveda is a holistic health system, not a religion. While it honors mind–body connection and natural rhythms, sessions are non-religious and grounded in practical wellness education.
